Woman Crush Wednesday - Chelsea

It’s #WCW and we’re making the first Wednesday of every month our day to celebrate women! This month we’re featuring, Chelsea!

Chelsea works at the CFE office in Sibley, IA. Her favorite part about her job is interacting with all the customers and listening to all their stories, Dan Marco’s weather theories are the best.

Chelsea married to Troy Schmidt on June 29 at Swiss Acres in Terril, IA and bought a house in Ocheyedan. Her favorite summer activities have been boating at the lakes, playing tennis, being a bookkeeper for Troy’s slow pitch league, watching Twins baseball, moving/decorating their house together, and of course celebrating their wedding!

Julie had the pleasure of working with Troy and Chelsea when they started their wedding plans. Julie made their gorgeous bouquets and boutonnieres. It was so much fun working with Chelsea and she made such a beautiful bride!

We asked Chelsea a few questions about her wedding day:

Q. What was your favorite part of wedding planning? A. I loved putting all the little touches on everything, I can be pretty particular about how I want stuff so being able to bring out the creativity in me was the best and seeing it all come together was special. I also loved how everything showed different touches of Troy’s and my own personalities.

Q. What was your favorite flower in your bouquet? A. Favorite flower of my bouquet is a toss up between the peonies or the succulents (I literally had these everywhere I could put them in decorating).

Q. What advice would you give to other brides planning their big day? A. Don’t stress about the small things no one ever notices, and enjoy every moment the day is here and gone in the blink of an eye but the memories last a lifetime!

Don’t forget to show Chelsea some love by giving her a “like”! ❤️
